Welcome

You’ve found the website of the Barry Amateur Radio Society.

BARS is a friendly local amateur radio club for anyone interested in radio, electronics, technology, or meeting like-minded people. Whether you’re an experienced operator, newly licensed, studying for your first licence, or simply curious, you’ll be very welcome.

We meet every Tuesday evening from 7:30pm at Sully Sports & Social Club, South Road, Sully, Vale of Glamorgan, CF64 5SP. Club nights are an opportunity to chat, share knowledge, get help with equipment or licensing, and enjoy talks, demonstrations, practical projects, and on-air activity.

There’s no need to be an expert, or even to own a radio, to come along. Drop in, say hello, and discover what amateur radio can offer.

Interested in joining BARS? Come along to a club night or get in touch to find out more about membership.
